Boreal Learning Network
Overview
The Boreal Learning Network was developed in response to the urgent call to protect Canada's boreal forests, and to address the challenges faced by ENGOs and First Nations in communicating, planning and negotiating with one another.
Boreal Learning Network 2009-2010
The Boreal Learning Network 2009-2010 builds on our successful 2008-2009 effort. The participants were clustered into two regional networks to enable us to focus on shared challenges among groups and communities.
Central Boreal Learning Network
This regional network consists of participants from Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Western Boreal Learning Network
This regional network consists of participants from Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territory and the Yukon.
Boreal Learning Network 2008-2009
The Boreal Learning Network 2008-2009 centered on three sessions that took place from May 2008 – February 2009 in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario in a scenic retreat setting within an hour's drive to a major city.
