Paul Bubelis is the Executive Director of the Sustainability Network which he co-founded in 1997. He is a founding Director of Sustainability CoLab and sits on advisory committees for the Ontario Nonprofit Network, the Centre for Social Innovation’s Agents of Change Program and Green Living Enterprises. He has mentored emerging leaders through programs organized by Evergreen, The Natural Step and Earth Day Canada.
Prior to his work at Sustainability Network, he served as Executive Director of the Ontario Environment Network and spent 5 years at Environment Canada managing a community funding program. He has also consulted to grantmakers, government and NGOs. Paul obtained a biology degree from the University of Guelph, attended the University of Victoria and has a MSc from the University of Toronto.
Victor Reyes is the Sustainability Network Program Manager. He previously led the Boreal Learning Network and the Environment and Diversity Project. He currently manages the IT and web programs of the organization.
Victor also runs his own web design and development company, Wired Widget. He has helped numerous nonprofit organizations, social enterprises and small businesses establish a strong and recognized online presence.
When he is not working on websites, he can be spotted running the streets of Toronto, fair or foul weather.
Jeffrey Xu is the Sustainability Network’s Program Assistant. One of his most significant roles is found in assisting Victor in the creation of a fresh and exciting design for the new Sustainability Network website. While empirical observation seems to indicate that Jeffrey’s natural habitat is in front of the computer screen, he himself is keen on being being physically active and versatile.
Jeffrey has studied computer science at the University of Toronto, which stems from his love of immersive experience, in-depth story telling, and hands-on creation. He is enthusiastic about trying different things, seeing diverse cultures and enjoying nature.
Vicki Faul is our Accountant. She has spent many years working in the charitable sector with financial management experience at Sketch, St. Andrew’s United Church, Energy Probe, the Conservation Council of Ontario, and the Ontario Council for International Cooperation.
Vicki studied at both Seneca and Centennial Colleges and has volunteered for a number of charities including Second Harvest, the World Wildlife Fund and the Canadian Red Cross. She is passionate about environmental issues.
Jess is a Professional and Personal Relationship Coach, specializing in multicultural relationships. Originally from France, she has been living in Toronto for over 5 years now. She is passionate about coaching, wholehearted living, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and self-compassion and vulnerability.
