Boreal Learning Network

Session Two: Fall 2008

The second session of the Boreal Learning Network took place at the Delta Marsh Research Centre near Winnipeg, Manitoba from October 22 - 24, 2008. A central theme of the second session was Different Ways of Protecting Areas in the Boreal Forest. Opportunities were discussed and strategies developed through peer-to-peer learning and encouragement. Collaboration, skills building and continued cultural exchange continued to be key components of the project.
