ABOUT

ENGO challenges include negotiating the ever-growing number of technologies and platforms, seeking the best database (CRM), online engagement/organizing and building bench strength in planning and implementing technology and data-based projects. Leveraging data and technology has great potential to advance missions and multiply impact.

Nonprofit Tech Readiness Program

To help ENGOs gather and leverage data to meet their organizational missions, as well as build capacity to plan and implement organization-wide technology projects, we are collaborating with NTEN to offer their popular Nonprofit Tech Readiness Program to the ENGO community in Canada.

Designed for non-profit professionals who want to improve their technology leadership skills and capacity to manage tech projects across an organization, this program is both successful and well-established. NTEN has run over 45 cohorts of this program to date, including 1,000 organizations in various geographies and interest areas for more than 12 years but these will be their first Canadian cohorts.

These 21 ENGOs will meet from the fall of 2024 through the spring of 2025 and comprise the first NTR program cohort:

- Saskatchewan Environmental Society (SES)
- Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF)
